Quick Honey Wheat Beer Bread

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
4 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp salt
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ cup honey
1 (12 oz) honey wheat beer (can use regular beer)
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp melted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients until blended. Add ¼ cup honey and beer, stirring well. Dough will be very sticky.

Pour into prepared loaf pan. Brush 1 tbsp honey and melted butter over dough. Bake 50 minutes.
