Cream Cheese Brownies
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
6 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup self-rising flour
1 cup copped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Blend together sugar, oil, eggs, cocoa,
and
vanilla. Add flour; mix. Add nuts; spread half batter into a greased
13" x
9" pan.
8 tbsp butter (1 stick), softened
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
½ cop sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add remaining ingredients;
blend
well. Layer on top of batter in pan. Top with remaining batter, swirl
with a
knife.
Bake 45 - 50 minutes.
