Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken - Julie
1 whole chicken
Olive oil spray
Lawry’s Seasoned Salt (Or McCormick’s)
1 lemon
½ onion
Aluminum foil
- Clean chicken inside and out.
- Sprinkle inside and out of chicken with Lawry’s.
- Spray the inside of a large crockpot with cooking spray. (Do not put any water in the crockpot.)
- .Roll some wads of foil into balls and put them in the bottom of the pot. The chicken is going to sit on these.
- Put ½ lemon and ½ onion in the cavity of the chicken. Squeeze the juice from the remaining half lemon on the chicken, then spray it all over.
- Put the chicken back-side down on top of the foil balls.
- Cook on HIGH for 4 – 5 hours.
The juices left in the pot makes delicious gravy. Pop some frozen biscuits into the oven and you have a very easy, yummy meal. (This makes the house smell like Thanksgiving while it’s cooking.!!)
