Fried Ravioli

Olive oil for frying
Milk
Italian bread crumbs
Frozen cheese ravioli, thawed
Grated Parmesan
Store-bought marinara, heated, for dipping

Heat 2 inches of olive oil in a deep frying pan until deep fry thermometer reads 325 degrees.

While oil is heating, put milk & bread crumbs in separate shallow bowls. Dip ravioli in milk, then dredge in bread crumbs. Place ravioli on a baking sheet until oil is ready.

Fry ravioli in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to paper towels to drain.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve with warm marinara for dipping.

Plan about 9 ravioli per person for main course, less for an appetizer.
