Herbed Beef Patties (Lori)
1 1/4 ground beef
3 tablespoons cold water
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
dash black pepper
dash paprika
flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 cup fine seasoned bread crumbs
2 tbsp butter
Topping
1 cup spaghetti sauce (I used a little more)
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
In a bowl combine beef, cold water, garlic salt, oregano, pepper, and paprika.
Mix well.
Divide meat into even patties.
Coat patties with flour and let sit for a few minutes.
Then dip patties into egg and bread crumbs.
Brown both sides in butter in a skillet.
Arrange patties in a shallow baking dish.
Pour a little spaghetti sauce over patties. Sprinkle with grated cheese and pour the rest of spaghetti sauce over patties.
Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. |
