Mandarin Lettuce Salad
Dressing:
½ tsp salt
Dash pepper
2 TBL sugar
2 TBL vinegar
¼ cup oil
1 TBL shipped parsley
Salad:
¼ cup sliced almonds
1 TBL & 1 tsp. sugar
¼ head Romaine
1 cup chopped celery
2 green onions
Mandarin Oranges (11 oz)
Shake dressing & refrigerate (up to 24 hours)
Cook almonds & sugar over low heat, stirring, until sugar melts
& coats almonds.
Cool & break apart the almonds.
Tear lettuce, put in plastic bag, add celery & onions.
Fasten bag & refrigerate.
5 min. before serving, pour dressing into bag. Add 1 can mandarin orange
segments -Drained.
Fasten bag and shake until mixed. Add almonds & shake.
