Millionaire Fudge (Susie)

12 oz. evaporated milk
4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
8 plain Hershey's chocolate bars
1 jar marshmallow creme (13 oz. or so)
1 tbsp vanilla
4 c. pecans (optional)

Mix sugar, milk, and butter in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.  Bring to a boil and cook 7 minutes, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bars, marshmallow creme, vanilla, and pecans.  Drop by tablespoons on waxed paper.  Cool. (I put the pecans on top of the fudge so that those that don't like nuts can remove them)
