California Oriental Salad Surprise 1 small package slivered almonds Dressing: ½ cup oil (My friend use to buy Paul Newman's Oil and Vinegar dressing and add the Ramen flavor pack and sugar and pepper, instead of making the dressing completely from scratch.) Combine and chill the dressing ingredients. Roast almonds in skillet until brown. Mix cabbage and green onions. Just before serving, add crushed Ramen Noodles, sesame seeds, roasted almonds, and dressing to cabbage. Serve Chilled. (I like to keep the noodles, sesame seeds, and almonds in a separate container so they don't get soggy. I keep the dressing in a separate container also.) |
