Scotcheroos - Carolyn
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies
1 6 oz. pkg. Chocolate chips
1 6 oz pkg. butterscotch chips
Combine sugar and syrup in 3 qt. saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove from stove and immediately blend in the peanut butter. Stir in the cereal.
Press mixture into a 9 x 13 buttered pan.
Melt semi sweet chocolate and butterscotch morsels in top of double boiler over hot (not boiling) water.
Spread over cereal mixture.
