Susie's Lasagna
1/2 to 1 lb. Polska Kielbasa Sausage
l lb. Ground Chuck
1 med. Onion, chopped
1 can (30 oz.) Tomato Sauce
24 oz. Mozzarella Cheese (or more) shredded or sliced
1 1/2 c. Water
pkg. frozen Spinach
Cottage Cheese
Lasagna Noodles
Brown sausage, onion, and ground chuck. Drain. Add water
and sauce. Simmer 45 min. Cook noodles. Drain. Layer in
13 x 9-inch pan the noodles, meat sauce, spinach, which
has been thawed and excess water squeezed out, cottage
cheese, and mozzarella cheese, ending with mozzarella.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min., or until brown.
I always leave some without spinach in case someone doesn't care for
spinach.
